EpiPen and EpiPen Jr Recall
13 lots of EpiPen and EpiPen Jr. have been recalled due to the potential that these devices may
contain a defective part that may result in the devices’ failure to activate.
Please check any EpiPen supplies at home for the following expiration dates and lot numbers.
The district nurses will be checking all EpiPens at school and will be notifying families of those
affected by the recall in the next couple of days.

Patients should not return any devices affected by the recall until they have received their
voucher to redeem their free replacement from their pharmacy. It is important that patients
continue to carry their current EpiPen Auto-Injector until they receive a replacement device.
If you have a recalled product, please call this number for instructions on how to obtain a

2017-2018 School Calendar
The District 105 Board of Education adopted the 2017-2018 school calendar at its March meeting.  A new component of this calendar is an early-dismissal schedule, one day per week.  During the 2017-2018 school year, students will be dismissed on Wednesdays at 2:15 PM.  The early-dismissal days will replace the 6 half-day dismissals that currently exist in our calendar.
A community letter discussing this topic, and the 2017-2018 calendar is attached here.
